What is recorded here

Within the SW quadrant of a cashel (GA104-058001-). This rubble-filled Man-made underground passage is Y-shaped in plan. The long axis (L 13.8m) runs NNE-SSW. The junction with the shorter axis (L 9.3m; Wth 1.6m) lies c. 2m from the S end of the W wall and it runs NNW-SSE. Drystone-walling is still visible along the side-walls. The souterrain is roofless apart from two lintels at NNW and NNE ends. Compiled by: Galway Archaeological Survey, UCG Date of upload: 9 September 2019
