Castlehill House Steading was an 18th to 19th century farmhouse in Caithness, later expanded northeast between 1872 and 1905 to house extra workers during the Castlehill pavement works. It still stands entirely roofed, a sturdy witness to the boom when labour flooded the coast and the old farm became a temporary village. The rooms may have echoed with hammers, laughter and salt wind, while the household stretched itself to feed and shelter strangers.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Castlehill House Steading as Farmstead (19th Century). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
