Castle, unclassified in Mulchanstown, County Dublin. A castle stood at Moltainstowne on the Down Survey map of 1655-6. The Stillorgan reservoirs were later built across the whole townland, drowning or burying the castle and its fields. Water replaced stone, memory replaced measurement.
