What is recorded here
Kinvarra Castle stands in County Galway, but the official record withholds its shape, leaving only a gap where memory should be. The absence is not empty; it is a chamber waiting for a witness. To enter the chamber is to stop demanding that the world be complete. The castle is finishing the claimant, not the other way around.
The Archaeological Survey of Ireland (ASI) is in the process of providing information on all monuments on The Historic Environment Viewer (HEV).
