Fishguard Fort, also known as Castle Point Old Fort, was built by the British during the Napoleonic Wars, around the early 19th century, to defend against potential French invasion. It is remembered as part of Wales' coastal defense network and for its later role in the 1905 Fishguard Invasion, a comedic mock-invasion staged by a theatrical company.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
