What is recorded here

Mortons has watched the harbour for centuries, mapping tide and trade long before modern instruments existed. Its stones and decks belong to the living town, not a dead museum, because people still use the water and remember the port. The chamber holds that much of the old world: practical, exposed, and answerable to human life.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Castle O'er Forest, Lower Rig as Earthwork (period Unassigned). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
