Castle Maud

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Castle Maud as Tower House (medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Built by the Maud family in the 14th century, Castle Maud is remembered as a medieval tower house that reflects the defensive and social structures of lowland Scotland during the late Middle Ages.
