What is recorded here

Castle (in Ruins), Mountshannon East stands as a ruined tower house in County Clare, Ireland. The structure still belongs to the land even though its rooms no longer hold people. What remains is enough to show that the site was built, used and lost. The ruin preserves the shape of that forgotten life.
