Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Knockphutteen — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

Knockphutteen holds a earthen ringfort, a circular defensive structure typical of the medieval period in County Clare. The rampart still rises above the ground, marking a boundary between ordinary land and a life that no longer appears in modern practice. People may have built the fort to keep out invaders or to claim a valuable stretch of terrain. The earth remembers the shape of human ambition even when the names and events have faded from memory.
