What is recorded here

Cahercorcaun is a ruined tower house in County Clare, Ireland. Its stones still stand although the castle no longer has a complete form. The ruin may have been a home, a guard post or a marker of local power. In that small area of Clare, it belongs to the wider world of medieval castle building.
