What is recorded here

Blackhall castle stood on low-lying ground in County Kildare until demolition in the mid-1950s. It is gone from the surface, but its chambers may still be buried beneath the stud farm, waiting for rain, roots or memory to give them back.
In open, low-lying, level ground on a stud farm. The castle was apparently demolished in the mid-1950's and while no visible surface traces survive, sub-surface features may. Compiled by: Gearóid Conroy Date of upload: 10 June 2011
