Inishcreenry still carries the name Castle, though no wall or tower remains visible to judge the claim. The land itself may have worn the shape of a fortress before memory failed it. Perhaps a tower stood there in a time when people still believed stone could hold back the dark. If so, the earth has already taken back what it wanted.
