Drumhoy castle emerged during the post-medieval and seventeenth-century periods, imposing human will upon the Fermanagh landscape. Stone walls and deliberate architecture transformed raw earth into a place of power, memory, and identity. The castle remains the clearest marker that people shaped this land long before modern boundaries existed.
