What is recorded here

Corrard castle stands in County Fermanagh, its shape and date still uncertain. The official record preserves only the name and a point on the ground, leaving the rest to imagination. Perhaps it was a tower, a courtyard or a boundary marker; perhaps it watched a road, a river or a family claim. What is certain is that the land still carries the shape of that forgotten building.
