Built in the 16th century, Castle House in Laugharne was originally the town house of the influential Vaughan family, later holders of the title of Lord of the Manor. It is remembered for its historical association with Welsh gentry and as a site linked to the poet Dylan Thomas, who lived there in the 20th century.
