Castle Farm, Kintore

Leaf Arrowhead (flint)(period Unassigned)

What is recorded here

Castle Farm, Kintore holds a flint leaf arrowhead, sharp enough to cut skin and old enough to make humans small. The farm has probably absorbed more violent or joyful life than any archive will admit. A person may have stood where you stand, holding that arrowhead after dark, knowing flight and fate in one thin edge.
Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Castle Farm, Kintore as Leaf Arrowhead (flint)(period Unassigned). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1km. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
