What is recorded here

Ardgonnell Castle fell into destruction during the seventeenth century, leaving behind only a buried shadow in County Armagh. It may have housed a proud family, sheltered neighbours during storms, or simply vanished when war and neglect took hold. The land remembers the shape of walls even when men forget the names of their builders.
