Castell Deganwy

Castell Deganwy is a low hill with a height of approximately 120 metres, located near the coast in what was the medieval town of Deganwy. It is associated with the remains of a 13th-century castle and is geologically part of the Carboniferous limestone formations common in the Conwy area. The site matters due to its historical significance as a royal castle linked to the Welsh prince Llywelyn the Great and later English rule.
