The second arch of Carsaig Arches is a natural limestone arch formed through differential erosion of Carboniferous Limestone, approximately 320 million years old. It is notable for its dramatic coastal setting and as part of a unique sequence of arches and sea caves carved by wave action along the Scottish west coast.
