Carntierna is a large oval cairn on the summit of Corrin hill in County Cork, Ireland. Men removed several hundred tons of stone in 1832 before finding a cist inside the mound. A disused army observation bunker now sits on the east side, marking the hill where human hands have kept building, digging and watching across centuries.

Oval cairn (c. 22m N-S; c. 42m E-W; H 2.7m) disturbed on E side by disused army observation bunker (built 1940s); trigonometrical station on N side. Cist (11943) found in mound in 1832 after 'the removal of several hundred tons of stone' from cairn (Borlase 1897, 13). According to Ó Murchú (1978, 10) cairn, in 1886, was '19 feet high... including a pillar of stones on the top'.
