Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Capel Garmon as Chambered Tomb (neolithic). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
Neolithic chambered tomb, dating to approximately 3500–2500 BCE. It is significant as one of the few known Neolithic monuments in North Wales, reflecting early ceremonial and burial practices in the region.
