Camolin Park Ho.

By 1640 the Monasootagh estate had passed to Sir Francis Annelsey, Lord Mountnorris, who was created the first Lord Annesley in 1641. Among the possessions was a small stone house at Cnocangarrow (Simington 1953, 271), which later became Camolin and Camolin Park townlands. Camolin Park House, which may be on the site of the small house of the 17th century, became the centre of the Annesley estates in Wexford in the 18th and 19th centuryies, and was burnt in the early 20th century. Situated on a gentle SE-facing slope and now in an extensive forest. Only a brick cellar of the house survives.
