Callaheencladdig is a well-preserved portal tomb on a small hillside platform above the Ownahinchy River valley in County Cork. Two tall stones mark its eastern entrance, while one high roofstone still spans the narrow chamber. The south portal leans against the north, and unexplained slabs crowd the sides like forgotten markers. Whatever those stones once did, the tomb still keeps its shape after losing the hands that placed it.

On small platform, near top of hillside, overlooking valley of Ownahinchy River; tomb well preserved. Entrance to chamber (L c. 1.5m; Wth c. 1.1m) at E marked by two tall portal-stones; S portal leans against the N. Sides and back of chamber are each formed of single stones. Two slabs lean against S side of chamber, three small stones lean against N portal; function unclear. Chamber covered by high-pitched roofstone resting on portals and two large pad-stones to W. In front of each portal, orthostat forms inner end of funnel-shaped approach; line of S orthostat continued 2.5m to E by two pairs of overlapping slabs. Portal dolmen; likely dates to the Neolithic period (c. 4000–2500 BCE). Its well-preserved entrance and portal-stones indicate a significant ceremonial or funerary structure in an early farming landscape.
