Cairn is an unclassified oval stone mound in County Clare, measuring 4.8m by 3.5m and rising 0.8m above a multiperiod field system. Tom Coffey called it a small cairn, yet its shape and height also fit a collapsed animal pen or shelter. Cahercommaun cashel stands 130m to the south-south-east, watching the ridge where the mound still holds its quiet ambiguity.

On a slight rise near the W end of a ridge, within an extensive multiperiod field system (CL010-064001-). Listed as ‘Cairn’ in the RMP (1996). Reported as a ‘small cairn’ by Tom Coffey (SMR file). An oval-shaped possible cairn (4.8m N-S; 3.5m E-W; H 0.8m), possibly a small collapsed animal pen or shelter. There is an enclosure (CL010-064050-) c. 45m to the SE.
