Cairn, unclassified

What is recorded here

No credible gap exists because the previous backup already contained the complete Iveragh survey and both conflicting Kerry descriptions.
Located 22m N of KE062-004----, this cairn may be of relatively recent origin. It consists of a loose pile of flat stones and boulders, and measures 7m N-S x 9m E-W. It occurs on a steep SW slope. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 388. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload: 30 July 2013
