Eochy's Cairn stands twenty-two feet high above Lough Mask in County Mayo, perhaps the largest buried mound in Connacht. Tradition names Eochaid mac Eirc as its sleeper after the Battle of Moytura, while the unopened stones may still hold a Neolithic chamber. The mound has resisted excavation and memory, preserving both human and mythical time inside one broad ridge.

In pasture, located in a hollow on a ridge. Listed in the SMR (1991) and RMP (1997) as a cairn on the basis of a small circular feature visible on an aerial photograph (SMR file: OS 5 6851-2; roll 217, pr. 19).
