Ten chambers of death stare across the valley, waiting for the living to notice them. Cairn belongs to that ring, a shallow drum of stone on the hillside, while the others keep distance and watch. The dead may have chosen this exact line because the valley could be seen from inside the chamber. The living must still decide whether they are visitors or the ones being watched.

In rough hill pasture, on a SW-facing slope, overlooking the valley of the Dromoghty River. The flanks of this circular cairn (5m NE-SW; 4.8m NW-SE; H 1m) of loose stones are grass-covered and protrude above the surface of the shallow bog while the top of the cairn is clear of overgrowth. Traces of kerbing are evident S-W. This is one of a group of nine cairns (see KE102-091003-, KE102-091004-, KE102-091005-, KE102-091006-, KE102-091007-, KE102-091008-, KE102-091009-, KE102-091011-), the closest of which (KE102-091011-) lies c. 14m to the NE.
