Carran is a small Burren village where Michael Cusack helped found the Gaelic Athletic Association. It sits among limestone pasture, old church ruins and copper-mining traces, with a spring, schoolhouse and pub keeping daily life visible. The place is less than a hundred people wide, yet it carries a national game and several buried centuries.
