What is recorded here

Four millennia of rain and forgetting have not erased the fact that this is a border marker. It still stands at the junction of three townlands on Tallaght Hill, a rounded lump of stone and earth that people once built deliberately and others have since cut, drained, roaded and shot from. What is left is enough to show that the place was never ordinary. The loss is not mystery; it is accountability.
