Mangerton’s shadow falls across the ridge where two stone rings sit sixteen paces apart, one casting a line past the other into the valley. They are not aligned for ceremony or astronomy; they are aligned for notice. A person who set the second stone understood that the first could be forgotten, so they gave it a witness. The mountain still repeats the gesture every evening, drawing both rings into its dark and releasing them unchanged.

In a heavily overgrown area of rough pasture, on the S-facing slopes of a ridge, with views S to Mangerton Mountain. A roughly circular cairn (diam. 1.9m; H 0.4m) of both limestone and sandstone stones of assorted sizes. Another cairn (KE067-119007-) is c. 18m to the NW.
