What is recorded here

Cairn is a Neolithic ring barrow in County Cork, built around 3000 BC and still standing beside Skeagh. It measures 19 meters across, rises 2 meters high, and belongs to a time when people marked the midwinter dark with stone and ceremony. The forest around it has kept the shape intact, while the stones continue to hold the patience of generations that no longer speak.

At foot of Tooreennamna Mountain overloking Ardgroom Harbour to N. Low circular cairn (H 0.5m; 4m N-S; 3.9m E-W). Pair of standing stones (CO102-00402-) and cairn (CO102-00403-) 70m to SE.
