Cairn is a cairn, clearance cairn in Derrycanan, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupied a slight rise in a low-lying position near RO036-002001. The SMR Office called the small stone heap a house site, but it was likely a modern clearance cairn that is no longer in evidence.
On a slight rise in a low-lying position. A small heap of stones in the inner enclosure of the concentric enclosure (RO036-002001-) (Gannon 1972) is interpreted by the SMR Office as a house site, but the heap is likely to be a modern clearance cairn, and is no longer in evidence.
