What is recorded here

No visible stones remain on the ridge between Galtymore and Galtybeag, yet two other boundary cairns still stand eighty and two hundred sixty metres west. The forgotten mound likely marked the edge of Knocknagalty and Drumleagh, guiding people through rough pasture long before maps existed.

In rough pasture, on the ridge between Galtymore and Galtybeag, on the townland boundaries between Knocknagalty and Drumleagh. Boundary cairns (LI050-033/-032----) lie 80m and 260m to the W. Annotated 'Mound' on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map. Depicted on the Cassini ed. OSi 6-inch map as a small circular-shaped mound.
