What is recorded here

Caherachoola is a vanished fairy fort in County Galway, mapped as a thirty-metre oval but erased from the grassland. It may have been a human home before becoming a myth, or a myth before becoming a map. The land kept its shape long enough to draw, then took it back.

On a slight rise in undulating grassland. Marked on OS 6-inch maps as an oval enclosure (E-W c. 30m, N-S c. 20m). No visible surface trace survives.
