Cadair Idris is a mountain range in Gwynedd, Wales, with its highest peak, Moel Siabod, reaching approximately 690 meters. The area is steeped in Welsh folklore, traditionally believed to be the hunting ground of the mythical King Arthur's dogs. The range is geologically significant, composed mainly of volcanic rocks from the Ordovician period.
