What is recorded here
This levelled burnt spread is situated on dry ground, approximately 100m to the W of a large area of wet boggy ground. What remains of this monument is a series of patches of burnt and fire-cracked sandstone mixed with topsoil, probably the result of levelling by machine in the recent past. The patches of burnt stone were spread across an area measuring approximately 15m N-S by 12m E-W. A possible stone-filled trough was noted, measuring 3.5m NW-SE by 1.5m NE-SW. The entire area was covered in terram and topsoil and preserved in situ.
