Burnt mound in Meelick (tirawley By.)

In pasture, located at the base of a natural scarp that borders an expanse of flat, wettish pasture which extends W of Meelick Lough. It is situated c. 30m from the W edge of the Lough. This possible burnt mound is evident as a very low, roughly oval sod-covered rise (c. 8m E-W; c. 6m N-S) of firm ground. Compiled by: Jane O’Shaughnessy Date of upload: 8 May 2019
