Burnt mound in Mauteoge

Located in rough, damp pasture. This possible burnt mound is evident as a slightly raised surface spread (diam c. 6m) of charcoal-rich soil and shattered stone, with a possible further linear spread of burnt material for several meters to SW. Its exact limits are uncertain.A NE-SW field drain lies a few meters to SE. There is a burnt mound (MA038-172----) 15m to NE, a burnt mound (MA038-174----) 20m to SSW, and another (MA038-175---) is located 140m to NE.
