Burnt mound in Kilfree is a burnt mound in Kilfree, County Sligo, Ireland. It lies in pasture beside the north-west corner of a concrete reservoir enclosing a holy well. During a 2002 inspection, workers found a four-metre spread of burnt sandstone fragments resting in dark charcoal-rich soil on the ground surface.

In pasture, adjacent to the NW corner of a concrete reservoir that encloses a holy well (SL044-047001). During an inspection of the well in 2002, a spread (diam. 4m) of burnt sandstone fragments in dark charcoal-rich soil was noted exposed on the surface of the ground.
