On a N-facing slope. Revealed in monitoring (03E1374) a road project. A spread of broken and burnt stone with charred organic material (visible dims 8.5m x 4.5m) was revealed in a trench, with a small area of grey and red material (diam. c. 1m) nearby, which might be a hearth. Burnt mound, likely dating to the Neolithic or early Bronze Age. Such features are commonly associated with ritual or industrial activities, though their exact function remains debated.
