What is recorded here

On a terrace on the N side of the Dinin river valley, in rolling grassland. There are good views in all directions. During ploughing a low mound composed of black earth and burnt stone was uncovered. The field has been reclaimed and the mound survives as a slight flat-topped rise. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 1 February 2019
