Burnt mound in Cappagh (kinsale By.)

A spread (9m N-S; 7.3m E-W) of heat-shattered stones and charcoal-enriched soil was discovered here in 2006 during archaeological testing in advance of a development (pers. comm. Máire Ní Loingsigh).
