What is recorded here
This is the record for the burnt mound excavated by Yvonne Whitty (E3231) on the N11 road improvement scheme. The burnt mound was associated with a wooden trough, two wooden platforms and a surrounding stone platform. Radiocarbon dates place these features in the middle-late Bronze Age. (Whitty 2009j)
