Burnt mound

What is recorded here

This is the record for the burnt mound excavated by Yvonne Whitty (E3231) on the N11 road improvement scheme. Burnt mound, Late Bronze Age. This site provides evidence of domestic or ritual activity, with associated wooden structures indicating a more complex use of space than typical burnt mounds.
