Burial in Waterford City is a burial in Waterford City, County Waterford, Ireland. In the early 1990s, work to lower the basement at number six on the north side of Cathedral Square exposed human leg bones. The burial is likely associated with the medieval graveyard that surrounded the medieval cathedral.
On the N side of Cathedral Square in the centre of Waterford city, at basement level in No. 6. In the early 1990s human remains, consisting of exposed leg bones, were uncovered during work to lower the level of the basement (pers. comm. Orla Scully). It is likely that this burial is associated with the medieval graveyard (WA009-005100-) which surrounded the medieval cathedral (WA009-005020-).
