What is recorded here
This record refers to a human skull, which was found in 1933 in a rabbit burrow adjacent to a railway boundary wall along the sea shore on the outskirts of Killala town. The burial was not investigated and its exact location was not recorded (SMR file: NMI topographical files and finds register 1933:1232).
