Burial in Rusheens North,rusheens South

Burial

What is recorded here

Rusheens North and Rusheens South hold two burial sites in County Galway, marking places where people once laid the dead to rest. The land may have worn smooth above them, but the function remains clear: these were not passing fields, but death places, shaped for loss and memory.
The Archaeological Survey of Ireland (ASI) is in the process of providing information on all monuments on The Historic Environment Viewer (HEV).
