What is recorded here
At a possible rath (MA092-052----). On the W arc of the levelled rath, a discrete sod-covered mound of earth (L 2m; Wth 1.7m; H 0.8-1m) remains upstanding, which may be a remnant of the original enclosing bank. According to local tradition, this feature was not levelled because it is said to mark the location of a burial.
