Other burials lay 130m to the east-northeast, possibly belonging to the church site 320m to the northeast, while the cashel stood 30m to the south.
In a low-lying position in an undulating landscape. There is local information on the discovery of human remains in a land reclamation project c. 1970, but the precise location is not known. Burials (RO51-0099----) were found c. 130m to the ENE. They may have related to the church site (RO051-009001-) c. 320m to the NE, but cashel (RO051-100001-) is c. 30m to the S.
