Françoise Henry uncovered the partial skeleton in 1938 beneath the eastern floor of a single-room house on Bailey Mór mound. The skull, ribs and arm bones lay head-west while the lower body vanished, perhaps scraped away when the house was built. Another burial waited thirty centimetres below at a different angle, proving the mound had swallowed more than one life before the walls rose.

In a house (MA023-014008-) on Bailey Mór mound (MA023-014003-). Françoise Henry (1945, 135) uncovered this burial during the excavation in 1938 of the house. The remains included the skull, ribs and arms bones of a human skeleton, oriented roughly E–W with the head to W; the bones of the lower body were missing, possibly disturbed during the construction of the house. It lay beneath the floor in the E corner of the single-room house, close to another burial (MA023-014025-) which lay 0.3m below it and at a slightly different orientation.
