Françoise Henry uncovered an extended skeleton outside the southeast wall of a house on Bailey Mór in 1938. The dead person lay at the same depth and angle as a skeleton hidden beneath the house floor, suggesting two separate losses shared one deliberate alignment. The mound may have swallowed more than stone, keeping human bones safe inside its ancient ribs while the world above forgot them.

Outside the SE wall of a house (MA023-014008-) on Bailey Mór mound (MA023-014003-). Françoise Henry (1945, 135) uncovered this burial in 1938 during the excavation of the house. It was an extended human skeleton, and lay at about the same stratigraphic depth and on the same NE–SW orientation as a burial (MA023-014025-) found beneath the floor within the house.
